Second, JOVE’s Coherent Onion Peeler (COP) algorithm allows acoustic signals from very loud surface ships to be subtracted coherently to detect quiet submarines. COP can be used with NASA interferometers to coherently subtract the strong star signal to detect the weak exoplanet signal.
