LOCATION von Karman Auditorium, JPL, 4800 Oak Grove Drive, Pasadena, CA 91109

TENTATIVE AGENDA TO INCLUDE: Technical Presentations by approximately 5 or 6 High Tech Small Businesses (which includes all types of Small Businesses); Technical Discussions on content of Technical Presentations among all attendees; and Networking and Interface Opportunities between all attending Small Businesses and JPL, Prime Contractors (Round Table) and government representatives (NASA, SBA etc.). All large and small businesses are invited to attend.

Attendees can expect to:

  1. Listen to approximately five or six different Small Business Technical Presentations and thereafter to participate in technical discussions with JPL, Prime Subcontractors (Round Table), the SBA, NASA and other businesses regarding the presentations.
  2. Improve knowledge and skills in evaluating technical requirements and competing for High Tech opportunities in the federal government and prime contractor sectors; and
  3. Networking between JPL, Round Table Prime Contractors, and Government Representatives, and all attending Small Businesses to exchange ideas and concepts, with emphasis on expanding R&D subcontracting opportunities and partnering possibilities with other large and small businesses.

Approximately 5 or 6 Small Businesses will be selected by JPL to make technical presentations directly to JPL, Round Table Prime Contractors and to government representatives. Any Small Business that would like to compete for the opportunity to make a Technical Presentation must submit a 6 page “Statement of Technical Capabilities” to JPL.

JPL will select the High Tech Small Businesses as Presenters whose capabilities relate best to potential future JPL and prime subcontractor requirements. Selected Small Business Presenters will be given a 20-minute total time slot for Technical Presentations. In 2004 six companies were selected from more than forty (40) companies that competed.
